  • People who adapt their perception of pain through this approach have consistently had positive outcomes. Progress depends on your unique situation and commitment to the process. No two journeys are ever the same so I encourage clients not to compare themselves with others.

  • We are all different. I encourage people to take things at their own pace. Generally, people start noticing changes within a few weeks as they begin addressing the emotional and psychological contributors to their pain. The approach is more about creating life long adjustments that will serve you for years.

  • The MindBody approach has been successfully used for a number of conditions. To check whether you would benefit from this approach please follow this guide.

  • No, this isn’t therapy although there are a few overlaps. TMS/MindBody coaching provides you with neutral non-judgemental support. It is collaborative work to help you discover the answers, we focus on self-exploration, helping you understand how emotions directly affect your pain and help you reconnect with yourself. The goal is to empower you with knowledge and tools to overcome pain and take control of your healing process.

  • I provide email feedback after each session together with comprehensive guides and worksheets to support you with this work.

  • It is a necessary requirement before taking this approach that you have had all potential serious conditions ruled out (Cancer, Autoimmune illness, Nerve injury, some arthritic conditions). I also advise people to read through the F.I.T criteria devised by Dr Howard Schubiner to ‘rule-in’ MindBody symptoms or TMS. If you suspect your pain may be related to stress or emotions, coaching can be a powerful tool to explore and address those possibilities
